Each one of our knives is a living commemoration of the heritage, the art, and the spirit of the greatest sword-making tradition worldwide of the craftsmen of Longquan, China. More than just implements of utility, our blades originated from the fabulous Longquan area of China.

Our Heritage

Longquan Ancient City, located in Zhejiang Province, is known since the Eastern Zhou Dynasty for the swords and knives it has been producing in China. The sound of metal being struck is the one that has been heard here for a very long time while the generations of master smiths have been perfecting the age-old techniques.

DAO SWORD continues this tradition and hence maintains a heritage which is a continuous line of knowledge from master to apprentice for more than 2,500 years.

Hand-Forged Craftsmanship

At DAO SWORD, it is a commitment of our craftsmen to manually create a flawless product and their handcrafting is very detailed.
